I remember mom bring them home from the store. That was
the good days of childhood. Hiding under the covers acting like I was in
space just like the spacemen.
--Holly Ridge, NC
They were fantastic, I remember eating them all the

I've never tried Space Food Sticks but I would like
Junk food?! In our recycling, alfalfa sprout, homemade
yogurt, Diet for a Small Planet household? I should say not! But Space
Food Sticks were for some reason allowed into our brown paper lunch bags
along with the misshapen, pock-marked organic apples. Their marketing as
a perfectly balanced food conned our well meaning Mom into including
them in our assiduously healthy pantry. We never would have breathed the
delicious secret, the knowledge that they were really, when it came down
to it, just plain CANDY!
What a flash back! I used to love these things. All the
nutrition in one little stick. Haven't thought about them in YEARS!
THEY WERE AWESOME!!
My dog knew when I was eating one and would follow me
around the house until I gave her the last bite.
I remember eating the carmel stick, thinking it was a
rare treat & pretending that I was walking on another planet. It was
a snack that wasn't filled with a lot of useless calories and sugar that
moms' approved of their kids eating. So they were a healthy, FUN snack
that promoted kids imaginations. Bring them back, PLEASE!!
I HAVE NEVER TRIED SPACE FOOD STICKS BUT I AM GOING TO
BUY SOME AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.
Oh My!!!! Someone actually remembers these??? Now I know
I am really not crazy!!!! I have asked everyone I know, if they remember
these great snacks and even my mom gives me that blank stare as if to
say - ooookay, maybe I should have paid more attention to her when she
was a child so she wouldn't have to make things up :D I am soooo glad I
wasn't losing my mind!!!!! Yeah Yeah Yeah!! Bring them back!!!!!! PLease!!!!!!
White paper package with silver foil on the inside - yummy yummy

As kids we Had a Boat & our parents would achor out
in the backbay & my brothers & I would swim to this little sand
( island) with our peanut butter and chocolate sticks & sit on the
sand & pretend to be on the Moon!- bring them back!!!
What a great after school treat! My brother and I walked
home from school and we would race to the house to see who got to the
Space Food Sticks first (usually he won, but he still had to share with
me :) Sure hope you bring them back!
I always remember that my Mom, a single mother of two,
could never afford them. It seemed like all the other kids had them and
I could only dream about them.
I would eat these when I was 10 and pretend like I was
an astronaut... that was my dream.
--Los Angeles, CA
They were the greatest thing ever. I miss these

spaceier, you rule!!!
--Gig Harbor, WA
I loved them, used to get the on sunday.
They remind me of a movie I just watched with my three children and all
the talk about "walking on the moon" So hard to explain to
kids of the internet age that it was not all that long ago when we first
stepped out onto the moon.
Oh my gosh...these were our special treats when we were little! We
didn't have a lot of money, but when we were especially good our mother
always found the extra to buy these for us!
UNTIL I CAME TO THIS SITE I HAD FORGOTTEN ABOUT THIS PRODUCT. IT TOOK A
FEW MINUTES FOR MY MIND TO RECAPTURE MY CHILDHOOD MEMORY OF EATING
"SPACE FOOD STICKS" I REMEMBER HOW DRY THEY WERE AND THEY
Please Bring 'Em Back!!!
Taking them camping and then sneaking off to eat them in
--Los Angeles, CA

kept a few in the car and at work. I wish I could find them again!!
--North Palm Beach, FL
I got through college dieting and snacking on space food
They were my favorite lunch box treat while growing up
in the 60's and early 70's!! Brings back great memories, all the kids
They came in a gold wrapper and were chewy and
Chocolate to start with since I have never heard of them
they sound very interesting and I would surely try them…interesting
Sitting under a pine tree with my brother, hidden from
sight we pretended that we were blasting off into space. Once our
"flight" was under way, we ate our space food sticks like real
astronauts! It made us believe that we were walking on the moon!
